Actions available with policies are almost the same as in quotes: generate documents, create objects and transactions, manage activities, check API logs and changelog. For more information, see Quotes.
Additionally, you can renew a quote and make an MTA. To do this, click on the policy name in the list and you will be redirected to its policy page.
When the policy period is coming to the end, it is possible to renew the quote. Click the Renewal Quote button to perform this action.

After this, the quote type will be Renewal, the status will change to the initial one and you will be able to change quote fields.

If a quote has the termination possibility, then click the red Terminate Quote button. You will be able to create separate termination calculations, transactions and generate documents. This will also help to create various policy reports for external entities.

In this case the quote version is incremented and status becomes the initial one. You still can check the previous quote version, by clicking on it.

{info.fa-info-circle} The Termination button will only appear in those quotes, which schemas has the Termination button toggled and the user has the policies.termination.create and policies.termination.issue permissions.
If you need to make some changes/updates/upgrades for policies, which are still in force, you can create an MTA - Mid Term Adjustments. Click the Create MTA button to perform this action.

In this case, the quote will get the Adjustment type, its version will be incremented, the status will change to the initial one and you will be able to change quote fields. You still can check the previous quote version, by clicking on it.

{info.fa-info-circle} MTA in North America can be called as Endorsement.
If you are a super admin and have the following permission: policies.locked.super-edit (see Permissions), then you are able to edit the quote without MTA and incrementing the quote version. Click the red Super Edit button to edit the issued or terminated quote.

When you finished editing the quote, click the Save Quote button and then Cancel Super Edit.
